There has been a great debate as to whether who really buys haute couture. But then again, anyone can actually buy it -- that is if you have the money to spend on those oh-so-expensive luxuries your closet impeccably deserves. While it saddens us that haute couture is pretty much reserved only for the wealthiest and the prominent, we were still in awe seeing the fashionable attendees who arrived at this year’s couture fashion week. There were a lot of celebrities and famous tastemakers who attended the couture shows, but here’s the top three on our list:
1) Donning a very expensive skirted jumpsuit from the Atelier Versace, Jennifer Lopez looked stunning as she showed off her leggy features during her attendance at the Versace show. The famous singer was all-smiles and looked camera-ready as she hit the red carpet for photographs and interviews. She highlighted her look with a sleek high bun and opted to accessorize with gold dangling earrings and a cuff.
2) One of our favorite fashion model, on the other hand, opted for a more exotic appeal by wearing a snakeskin-inspired Givenchydress. Joan Smalls who is considered as the #1 model in the world according to Model.com was spotted heading into the Vogue Foundation Gala, and she looked nothing short of fierce and feisty! She accessorized her look with a gorgeous necklace and a black clutch.
3) Kate Hudson, who went for a somewhat wholesome look wearing an Armani Privé jumpsuit, was caught hanging out and rubbing elbows with fellow actors and stars before the couture shows started. Despite looking a little less provocative, the 35-year-old actress still amped up her fashion game by showing off some cleavage and opting for a sheer jumpsuit. She kept her accessories department to a minimal and decided to carry a black clutch instead.
